Solve the real problem
Not the problem that is easiest to put on a label. If a formula does not do the thing it is bought for, nothing else about it matters.

THE STORY
Robin Rouquart grew up in West Flanders and left to build a company somewhere else. In 2019 he founded The Mazi Group, now a privately held holding with five operating companies, a headquarters in Miami and two of its own production sites in the United States.
“I left Belgium to learn how to build a company. I came back to build one here.”
Mazi Beauty is the clean beauty and skincare company in that group. It is the reason this store exists, and the reason it opens in Belgium rather than anywhere else.
THE NAME
Mazi is the Greek word for together, and it is how the group is built. Not a company that buys a brand and moves on, but companies that share what they learn: a formula, a supplier, a production line, a hard lesson.

THE PROMISE
The group set out to break with old industry promises and deliver instead. That is a large thing to say, so here is the smaller version it comes down to: solve the real problem, ship something genuinely better, and never cut the corner the customer can feel.
For this store that is concrete. LUR Red Algae Eye Reviving Serum was formulated with red algae, niacinamide, caffeine and peptides, and it is formulated and filled in Belgium. It was tested on people, never on animals.
WHAT THAT MEANS
Not the problem that is easiest to put on a label. If a formula does not do the thing it is bought for, nothing else about it matters.
A product only earns its place if it beats what you already own. Otherwise it is one more jar on a shelf.
The savings a customer notices are not savings. That is where cost gets cut last, and usually not at all.

CLEAN, BY EU STANDARDS
There is no legal definition of ‘clean’ in the United States. The European Union bans well over a thousand substances from cosmetics; the American list is a fraction of that. The group formulates to the European list everywhere, including in its own American plants.
For a store selling in Belgium and the Netherlands that is not a marketing choice but the floor. It is simply where the products already stood.
